Coin Rwanda 50 Amafaranga Dragon Lunar - Silver Oz 2024

The nominal value is inscribed in full: "AMAFARANGA 50 MIRONGO ITANU" (50 Rwandan francs).

The reverse of the coin features a dragon, the central element of the Lunar series of Rwanda. It includes the inscriptions "LUNAR OUNCE", the Chinese character for dragon "?", and the year of issue "2024". There are also the mentions "YEAR OF THE DRAGON" and the specifications of the precious metal: "1 oz FINE SILVER 999".

This coin is part of the series dedicated to the Chinese calendar. It was minted by the B. H. Mayer Kunstprägeanstalt workshop in Karlsfeld, Germany. The mint has been in operation since 1999.
