The coin is made of fine silver with a fineness of 999.9/1000. Its gross weight is 311 grams, corresponding to 10 ounces, and its fine weight is also 311 grams. The diameter of the coin is 89.15 millimeters and its thickness is 6 millimeters.

The face value of this coin is 10 pounds sterling (£ GBP). On the obverse, there is the uncrowned portrait of King Charles III, facing left. The legend around the portrait is "CHARLES III·D·G·REX·F·D·10 POUNDS·" with the initials "MJ" of the designer Martin Jennings. This legend is an abbreviation of "Charles III Dei Gratia Rex Fidei Defensor", which means "Charles III, by the grace of God, King, Defender of the Faith".

The reverse of the coin depicts the seated Tudor Dragon, holding a shield adorned with a portcullis. Around this image, we can read the legend "TUDOR DRAGON · 10oz · FINE SILVER · 999.9" as well as the initials "DL" of the designer David Lawrence. The year of issue, "· 2024 ·", is also featured on this side. The edge of the coin is reeded.

The mint for this coin is the Royal Mint, located in Llantrisant, United Kingdom. It should be noted that the reverse design by David Lawrence has been used to strike coins in various compositions of precious and base metals, as well as in different denominations.
