The Philippine 500-peso polymer banknote, measuring 160 × 66 mm, is distinguished by a dominant golden yellow hue. Its obverse features a Visayan spotted deer (Rusa alfredi), one of the most endangered mammals in the Philippines, and a rare orchid, Acanthephippium mantinianum, both symbols of the country's rich endemic flora and fauna. On the right appear the coat of arms of the Republic of the Philippines and the seal of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. Official inscriptions include the face value "500 / Limandaang Piso" and the legal notice: "Ang salaping ito ay bayarin ng Bangko Sentral at pinananagutan ng Republika ng Pilipinas."
On the reverse, a map of the Philippines is depicted on the left, while a blue-naped parrot (Tanygnathus lucionensis), a colorful and emblematic species, occupies the center. To the right unfolds the natural landscape of the Puerto-Princesa Subterranean River National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. These elements are accompanied by the mentions "Puerto-Princesa Subterranean River National Park", "Blue-Naped Parrot" and the face value "500 / Limandaang Piso."
The banknote also incorporates a holographic security transparent window, featuring the coat of arms and the seal of the Central Bank, reinforcing its authenticity and resistance, characteristics of its polymer substrate.
