The Philippine 100 peso banknote, predominantly blue-violet in color and measuring 160 × 66 mm, belongs to the 'New Generation Currency' series.
Its front features a Palawan peacock-pheasant (Polyplectron napoleonis), a rare endemic species of the Philippines, as well as an orchid (Ceratocentron fesselii), symbols of national biodiversity. It also displays the coat of arms of the Republic and the seal of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
The official inscriptions recall the face value '100 / Sandaang Piso' and the State guarantee: 'Ang salaping ito ay bayarin ng Bangko Sentral at pinananagutan ng Republika ng Pilipinas'.
The reverse highlights emblematic elements of the country, with a map of the Philippines, a whale shark (Rhincodon typus) in the center, and the Mayon Volcano on the right, accompanied by the mentions 'Mayon Volcano' and 'Whale Shark'.
Finally, the banknote has a transparent security window incorporating the coat of arms and the seal of the Central Bank, reinforcing its authenticity.
