This banknote from New Caledonia has a face value of 100 francs. It was issued during the period from 1971 to 1977.
On the obverse, the banknote features a young Tahitian woman, wearing a flower crown and holding fruit. In the background, there is a coastal landscape with trees and traditional houses. The inscription "Nouvelle-Calédonie" appears at the top of the banknote, while the face value "100 francs" is indicated in words and numbers. The signature of the Chairman of the Board and that of a Managing Director are also present.
The reverse of the banknote depicts a village view with traditional huts, coconut trees and people going about their business. The inscription "Institut d'émission d'Outre-Mer" is inscribed at the top of the banknote, and the face value "100 francs" is repeated in numbers. The security thread is vertical and positioned to the left of the center.
