This commemorative banknote, issued by Namibia, has a face value of 60 Namibian dollars. It is dated 2025 and made of polymer. The banknote pays tribute to the late President Hage Gottfried Geingob.
The front of the banknote features an image of the facade of the Independence Memorial Museum located in Windhoek. It also features a portrait of the 3rd President, H.E. Dr. Hage Gottfried Geingob, as well as a representation of the Constituent Assembly of 1990.
The back of the banknote illustrates alternative energy sources, including wind turbines, a hydrogen tank, biomass, and solar panels. An image of Hage Geingob holding a football cup during his inauguration on March 21, 2015, at Independence Stadium in Windhoek is also present. The Coat of Arms of Namibia and another view of the facade of the Independence Memorial Museum in Windhoek complete the design.
The signature of Johannes !Gawaxab, Governor of the Bank of Namibia, is on the banknote. The printing was done by Oumolat Security Printing LLC, a company based in the United Arab Emirates.
The banknote's dimensions are 140 mm in length and 70 mm in width.
