Description
This Namibian banknote has a face value of 20 dollars and was issued in 2025. It is part of a series identified by the prefix "DD".
On the front, the inscriptions are in English. It features a representation of the Parliament building in Windhoek, as well as a portrait of His Excellency Doctor Sam Nujoma.
The back of the note also features inscriptions in English and incorporates a polymer security feature. The coat of arms of Namibia is depicted, along with an illustration of three red hartebeest (Alcelaphus buselaphus caama) standing. The note has a windowed "Ignite" security thread with the value "20" demetallized, as well as an embedded red hartebeest image.
The banknote's watermark represents a red hartebeest, accompanied by a galvanotype representing the value "20".
The banknote measures 134 mm in length and 70 mm in width.
