The 10 Namibian Dollar banknote, issued by the Bank of Namibia, features distinctive characteristics on both sides.
On the front, the banknote highlights the portrait of His Excellency Dr. Sam Nujoma, an emblematic figure of the country. There is also a representation of the Parliament building located in Windhoek, the Namibian capital. The inscriptions include the face value "10", the mention "BANK OF NAMIBIA", the expression "TEN NAMIBIA DOLLARS", and the name "H. E. Dr Sam Nujoma".
The reverse of the banknote features an image of a springbok, an animal symbol of Namibia. It also includes the denomination "10", the name "SPRINGBOK", the mention "BANK OF NAMIBIA", the year of issue "2015", and the face value "N$ 10".
The banknote incorporates a watermark representing Dr. Sam Nujoma as well as the denomination, adding a security element. Its dimensions are 130 mm in length and 70 mm in width. The banknote belongs to the B6 series, and its year of issue is 2025.
The language used for the inscriptions is Latin. This banknote serves as a legal tender in Namibia, while reflecting aspects of national identity through its illustrations and personalities.
