This banknote, with a face value of 50 francs, was issued by Morocco in 1949. Its dimensions are 120 mm in length and 78 mm in width. The weight of this banknote is one gram.
The front of the note features a multicoloured print on white paper. The visual composition is dominated by arabesques representing richly decorated walls and columns. A central arch highlights a watermark embedded in the paper. The inscription "Banque d'État du Maroc" is printed in brown and positioned on a single line in the upper frame of the note.
The numbering of the banknote, accompanied by a series alphabet, appears twice, printed in black, as does the date of issue. At the bottom of the note, the face value is expressed in words, accompanied by a legal article, all printed in brown. The value in numbers is also repeated twice, framed in a square located in the lower part of the note, and printed in brown.
The back of the note takes up the theme of arabesques, featuring two portals, walls and windows, contributing to the general ornamentation.
