The Lithuanian 2 litai commemorative coin, issued in 2013, pays tribute to the Stelmu?? oak. This bimetallic coin has a diameter of 25 millimeters and a weight of 7.5 grams.
The obverse of the coin features a stylized representation of the Vytis, the emblem of the Lithuanian State. The inscriptions "LIETUVA" (Lithuania) and "2 LITAI" (2 litas) are arranged in a semicircle around the emblem. The mint mark of the Lithuanian Mint (LMK) is also present on this face.
The reverse of the coin highlights the commemorative theme with the inscription "Stelmu?? oak", referring to the Stelmu?? oak, a remarkable and ancient tree in Lithuania. The year of issue, "2013", is inscribed at the bottom of this face, completing the commemorative design.
The edge of the coin is characterized by a semi-segmented finish. The designs of the coin are the work of Giedrius Paulauskis.
