The obverse of the coin features a stylized representation of the Vytis, the emblem of the Lithuanian state. The inscriptions "LIETUVA" (Lithuania) and "2 LITAI" (2 litas) follow an arc around the emblem. The mint mark of the Lithuanian Mint is also present on this face.
The reverse of the coin depicts a spinning wheel, a traditional tool associated with spinning. The year of issue, "2013", is inscribed at the bottom of this face.
Giedrius Paulauskis is credited as the designer for both sides of this commemorative coin.
The edge of the coin features a pattern of interrupted segments. The coin is from a "roll output" production.
