The commemorative 2 litas coin of Lithuania, issued in 2012, pays tribute to Neringa. This bimetallic coin weighs 7.5 grams and has a diameter of 25 millimeters.
The obverse of the coin features a stylized Vytis, the emblem of the Lithuanian state. The inscriptions "LIETUVA" (Lithuania) and "2 LITAI" are arranged in a semicircle around the emblem. The mint mark of the Lithuanian Mint is also present on this face.
The reverse of the coin highlights the Kurenkahn motif, accompanied by the year of issue, 2012, positioned in the lower part. The year "2013" is also inscribed on this face.
Giedrius Paulauskis is the designer credited for the conception of this commemorative coin.
The edge of the coin features a segmented reeding, resulting from a standard roll exit.
