Introducing the very first coin in Germania Mint's latest series - 2023 Witches: Seeress, 1 ounce Silver. This collection offers a journey into the mystical world of Germanic witches, who possessed extraordinary abilities to foresee the future, protect themselves from malevolent forces and exercise profound botanical wisdom.

To prepare for her enigmatic rituals, the seer dresses in ceremonial garb, her hand firmly clutching her staff, the emblem of her mystical authority. In front of her, atop a mound of stones, is the mystical crystal with which the Seeress fulfils her divine calling. At her side stands Ratatosk, the mythical squirrel charged with carrying messages to the inhabitants of the World Tree, Yggdrasil.

The reverse features an entirely new design, while retaining Germania Mint's double-headed eagle emblem. The central point is made up of animal skulls and dragons, symbolising the realm of the dead. Enigmatic Germanic runes surround these symbols, supposed to bring blessings, fortune and protective energies.

The special shape of this coin is of particular importance. The Germania Mint is presenting an octagonal-shaped coin for the first time, adding a remarkable and exclusive piece to the collection. Masterfully crafted by the talented artist Mateusz Fr?ckowiak, this coin is intended for a limited edition of 20,000 pieces. The authenticity of each piece is duly verified by the accompanying certificate of authenticity.
