This banknote, issued by Kazakhstan in 2024, has a face value of 2000 tenge. It is part of a series named "AK".
The front of the banknote features a dominant color scheme of green, blue, and purple. All inscriptions are in the Kazakh language. The main iconography includes a profile of an antelope's head, accompanied by an ornament of unspecified nature. A distinctive detail is the depiction of a "tree of life", specifically a sacred branch adorned with a bird in flight, inspired by a headdress found on the burial site of the "Golden Man" dating from the 3rd or 4th century BC, discovered in the Issyk kurgan mound. A DNA spiral and the national emblem of Kazakhstan complete the motifs on this side.
On the back, the dominant colors remain green, blue, and purple, with texts also in Kazakh. The central motif consists of hills and a lake inscribed within an infinite ornament. A stylized golden ornament representing a Saiga antelope is also present, as well as a depiction of four standing Saiga antelopes (Saiga tatarica). A circular Kazakh symbol completes the composition.
The banknote incorporates a windowed security thread with demetalized text. The watermark features a Samruk bird accompanied by the face value "2000" in electrotype. The dimensions of the banknote are 135 mm in length and 70 mm in width.
