This commemorative banknote, issued by Kazakhstan in 2025, celebrates the 80th anniversary of the "Great Victory". It has a face value of 1000 tenge. The banknote measures 130 mm in length and 70 mm in width.
The front of the banknote features several distinctive elements. It includes a representation of the monument dedicated to the 28 Panfilov Guards, located in Almaty, as well as the Eternal Flame. Images of flying cranes are also present. The commemorative inscriptions "Great Victory 80" appear in Kazakh and Russian. The face value, "1000 tenge", is also indicated.
On the back, a map of Kazakhstan serves as a backdrop, adorned with scenes illustrating soldiers and war workers. The medal of the Order of the Patriotic War is also depicted. The commemorative inscriptions "Great Victory 80" and the dates "1941-1945" are again found in Kazakh and Russian, as well as the face value "1000 tenge".
The banknote incorporates a watermark representing the number "80" as well as an electrotype indicating the years "1941-1945". The texts on the banknote are written in Cyrillic script. The issue series is identified by the prefix "AA".
