This Iranian banknote has a face value of 100 rials. It was issued in 1969.
The front of the banknote features a dominant brown color on a background printed in light green and multicolour. It features the seventh portrait of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, depicted in military uniform, positioned on the right side of the banknote. A complex geometric pattern adorns the center of the composition. Serial numbers are printed above and below the designated windows. The face value of the banknote is indicated numerically in each of the four corners.
The signatures on the banknote are those of Khodadad Farmanfarmaian and Dr. Jamshid Amouzegar.
The back of the banknote is printed in brown and pink tones. It depicts the Abadan oil refinery.
The watermark integrated into the banknote reproduces the portrait of Shah Pahlavi.
The dimensions of this banknote are 149 mm in length and 73 mm in width.
