This banknote from Iran has a face value of 100 rials. It was issued in 1969.
The obverse of the banknote features a dominant brown color on a background printed in light green and multicolored. It features the seventh portrait of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, depicted in military uniform, positioned on the right side of the banknote. A complex geometric pattern adorns the center of the composition. The serial numbers are printed above and below the designated windows. The face value of the banknote is indicated numerically in each of the four corners.
The signatures present on the banknote are those of Khodadad Farmanfarmaian and Dr. Jamshid Amouzegar.
The reverse of the banknote is printed in shades of brown and pink. It depicts the Abadan oil refinery.
The watermark integrated into the banknote reproduces the portrait of Shah Pahlavi.
