This 10 sen banknote issued by Indonesia in 1964 is part of the CTV series. It measures 103 mm long and 52 mm wide.
The front of the banknote features the portrait of a woman wearing a uniform. The inscriptions "BANK INDONESIA" and "SEPULUH SEN" (ten sen) are also present, as well as the mentions "GUBERNUR DIREKTUR" (Governor Director) and "SUKARELAWAN" (volunteer). The name of the printer, "P.H. PERTJETAKAN KEBAJORAN", also appears on this side.
The back of the banknote is decorated with a geometric pattern. There is also a text in Indonesian warning of the penal consequences of counterfeiting or putting false banknotes into circulation.
The printer of this banknote is Pertjetakan Kebajoran, a company based in Jakarta, Indonesia, which was active from 1952 to 1971.
This banknote was put into circulation on December 13, 1965. Due to a devaluation of the rupiah, this banknote had little value at issue, which led to many copies of this series never being put into circulation.
The signatures on the banknote are those of Governor Jusuf Muda Dalam and Director Hertatijanto.
