The 2015 Guinean 100 Francs banknote, from the AU series, features distinct visual characteristics on both sides.
The front of the banknote highlights the portrait of a Guinean African woman, smiling and wearing a traditional headdress. The coat of arms of Guinea is also present, symbolizing the issuing state. On the right, a representation of a rice plant completes the design of this side of the banknote.
The back of the banknote illustrates a banana harvesting scene, reflecting the country's agricultural activity. A sculpture of an African woman carrying a load on her head is also depicted, attesting to local cultural traditions.
The inscriptions on the banknote are written in the Latin alphabet. The signatures of Karamokoba Camara and Louncény Nabe are affixed to the banknote, indicating those responsible for its issuance. The issuing authority is the Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea. The banknote does not have a visible watermark, but it has an integrated security thread. A modification compared to other issues is notable: the sculpture present is replaced by a bunch of wheat located in the lower right of the banknote. The physical dimensions of the banknote are 124 millimeters in length and 64 millimeters in width.
