The 2012 Guinean 100 Franc note, series EA, features the coat of arms of the Republic of Guinea on its obverse, placed at the center of the composition. To the left of the coat of arms is a portrait of a Guinean woman wearing a traditional headscarf. On the right, a local art sculpture completes the design.
The inscriptions in the Latin alphabet include the mention "BANQUE CENTRALE DE LA RÉPUBLIQUE DE GUINÉE" at the top of the note, followed by the face value "100" and the date "le 1er MARS 1960". The face value "CENT FRANCS GUINÉENS" is also indicated, as well as the year of issue "2012". A legal warning is present: "TOUT CONTREFACTEUR SERA PUNI PAR LA LOI EN VIGUER".
The reverse of the note depicts a scene of agricultural work in a banana plantation. It shows people engaged in harvesting bananas, illustrating an important economic activity for the country. The inscriptions include the face value "100" and "CENT FRANCS GUINÉENS".
