The 20 Francs banknote, issued in 1947, belongs to series D.17 and originates from Guadeloupe.
On the front, there is a portrait of Émile Gentil and a representation of a village consisting of huts. The inscriptions in Latin characters indicate the face value "20 VINGT FRANCS 20" and the issuing institution "CAISSE CENTRALE DE LA FRANCE D'OUTRE-MER". The names of the artists who participated in its creation can also be found: "P. MUNIER FEC." and "BROUTIN SC.".
The back of the banknote features a bust of a man holding a stick.
This banknote, with a value of 20 francs, is made from paper. Its dimensions are 136 mm in length and 73 mm in width. Joseph Broutin is identified as the engraver and Pierre Munier as the designer.
