This 2001 Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) set, minted by the Paris Mint, includes all the denominations in Pacific Francs then in circulation in French Polynesia.

The set contains seven distinct coins, ranging from the smallest value, 1 franc, to the largest, 100 francs. Each coin was struck with new tools, which gives them a superior quality and a brilliant appearance, characteristic of the Brilliant Uncirculated quality.
