This French banknote with a face value of 500 francs was issued in 1945.
The front of the note features a portrait of Marianne de Dulac, recognizable by her Phrygian cap, positioned in a medallion on the right. The background and borders are adorned with intricate geometric patterns. The inscription "REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE" can be read, framed on either side by the face value "500". The value "500" is repeated in numerals and letters ("CINQ CENTS FRANCS") on the rest of the banknote. All inscriptions are written in Latin script.
The back of the banknote is composed of intricate geometric patterns similar to those found on the front. The engraver of this note is Edmund Dulac.
