The obverse of the banknote features the inscriptions "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE MARSEILLE" at the top and "50 CENTIMES" in the center. It also includes the mentions "Le Trésorier" (The Treasurer) and "Les membres Délégués" (The Delegate Members), as well as the signature of Valère Bernard, identified as the designer. The mention "SERIE D" is also present.
The reverse of the banknote displays the inscription "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE MARSEILLE" at the top. It contains an excerpt from the deliberations of the Marseille Chamber of Commerce dated August 12, 1914. The name of the printer, "IMP MOULLOT MARSEILLE", is also mentioned.
