This 50 centime note was issued by the Chamber of Commerce of Moulins and Lapalisse, in the Allier department, France. It is part of series 339 and was printed on July 2, 1920.
The front of the note features a bright red border surrounding a light blue background. In the center, you can read the inscriptions "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE MOULINS ET LAPALISSE (Allier)" and "50 CENTIMES". On either side of these inscriptions are the coat of arms of the Chamber of Commerce. At the bottom of the note, the printer's name, "IMP. B.ARNAUD _ LYON _ PARIS", is printed in red. The signatures of the Treasurer and the President of the Chamber of Commerce are also present, as well as the serial number of the note: Series 339 000.790. The mention "Délibération du 13 octobre 1916" also appears on the front.
The back of the note displays the amount of "CINQUANTE CENTIMES" in numbers and letters. An important message is printed in the center, stating that these vouchers are exchangeable for banknotes of the Banque de France and must be presented for reimbursement before December 15, 1922, unless a decision is made to extend this period.
The printer of this note was B. Arnaud, a company based in Villeurbanne, France, which operated from 1898 to 1990.
