This 50 centime note was issued by the Dijon Chamber of Commerce in 1919 and belongs to the 4th series of this issue. The text is written in French.
The obverse of the note bears the following inscriptions: "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE DIJON", "DÉLIBÉRATION DU 1er DÉCEMBRE 1919", "CINQUANTE CENTIMES", as well as the mentions "Le Trésorier" and "Le Président". It also includes the mention "ÉMISSION GARANTIE PAR LE DÉPÔT DE LA CONTRE-VALEUR AU TRÉSOR" and the indication of the series "4e Série". The printer's name, "IMP.G.GERIN DIJON", also appears on this side.
The reverse of the note displays the face value "50 Centimes" and specifies the redemption conditions: "CE BILLET DEVRA ÊTRE PRÉSENTÉ AU REMBOURSEMENT AUX CAISSES PUBLIQUES AVANT LE 1er Décembre 1924". It also includes the mention "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE . DIJON.".
