This 50 centime note, issued by the Chambers of Commerce of Orléans and Blois, dates from May 15, 1921, and represents the second issue of this type. The front of the note features the inscription "CHAMBRES DE COMMERCE D'ORLÉANS ET DE BLOIS" at the top, followed by the face value "50 CENT.ES". The signatures of the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Blois and the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Orléans are also present. A serial number, "763.070", is printed, as well as the mention "2me EMISSION 15 mai 1921". The printer's indication, "IMP. DU LOIRET ORLEANS", is present at the bottom.
On the back, we find the year "1921" at the top, followed by the mention "SOUS-RÉGION ÉCONOMIQUE D'ORLÉANS". The text specifies that the note is guaranteed by a deposit of equal sum at the Treasury and that it is exchangeable for banknotes at the Treasury Generals of Orléans and Blois. It is also stipulated that reimbursement must be requested within three years from the date of issue, under penalty of prescription.
The note has a watermark representing bees. The printer is Imprimerie du Loiret, located in Orléans, France.
