Description

This 50 centime banknote was issued by the Chamber of Commerce of Mâcon and Bourg in 1915. The front of the note features the inscription "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE MACON BOURG" in capital letters. A serial number, "390049", is printed on the front. The face value, "50 CENTIMES", is clearly indicated. The President's signatures are affixed, with the mention "Le Président" repeated twice.

The printer's name, "X. PERROUX & FILS MACON", is also on the front, indicating the company responsible for the production of the banknote.

On the back, there is the mention "Émission du 1er SEPTbre 1915", specifying the date of issue of the banknote. The reimbursement clause is also stipulated: "Remboursable jusqu'au 1er SEPTbre 1920", defining the period of validity of the banknote for its exchange.

The printer mentioned on the back is "X. Perroux & Fils, Mâcon, France", confirming the origin of the printing of the banknote.

The script used on both sides of the banknote is in Latin.
