The 50 centime note issued by the Eure-et-Loir Chamber of Commerce in April 1917 represents the second issue of its kind. The front of the note features the following inscriptions in Latin characters: "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE D'EURE ET LOIR", followed by "2ème émission AVRIL 1917". The face value "50 CENTIMES" is clearly indicated, accompanied by the mentions "Le Président" and "Le Trésorier", suggesting the signatures of the officials responsible for the issue. There is also the mention "Garanti par un dépôt au Trésor Public". The name of the printer, "E TROCHARD CHARTRE", also appears on this side.
The back of the note bears the inscription "1921 GROUPEMENT DE LA REGION PARISIENNE". It specifies that "Ces bons seront remboursables à Chartres En billets à la Banque de France à toute époque, jusqu?au 31 décembre 1923, par groupe de dix au moins de chaque coupure." The cities of "Châteauroux", "Chartres", "Nogent-le-Rotrou" and "Dreux" are also mentioned. It is important to note that this note does not have a watermark.
The printing of this note was carried out by the E. Trochard Printing Company, located in Chartres, France. The text is entirely in Latin script, both on the front and back. The inscriptions provide essential information on the issuer, the date of issue, the face value and the terms of redemption of the note. The absence of a watermark is a notable characteristic of this specimen.
