This 1 franc note, issued by the Chamber of Commerce of Eure-et-Loir, dates from January 1921 and corresponds to the 5th issue. The front of the note bears the mention "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE D'EURE ET LOIR" in capital letters. It also includes the designation of the issue, "5ème émission janvier 1921", as well as the face value of "50 CENTIMES". The names of the President and Treasurer are printed, attesting to the responsibility of the signatories. The guarantee of the note is ensured by a deposit with the Public Treasury. The name of the printer, "E TROCHARD CHARTRE", also appears on this side.
The back of the note bears the year of issue, "1921", as well as the mention "GROUPEMENT DE LA REGION PARISIENNE". Information regarding the reimbursement of the bonds is specified: they are reimbursable in Chartres in banknotes of the Banque de France, at any time until December 31, 1923, in groups of at least ten of each denomination. The cities of Châteauroux, Chartres, Nogent-le-Rotrou and Dreux are also mentioned.
The note does not have a watermark. The printing was carried out by Imprimerie E. Trochard, located in Chartres, France. The writing used on the note is of Latin type.
