This 50 centime note was issued by the Bourges Chamber of Commerce in 1920. It belongs to Series A and is distinguished by its front side written in Latin.
The front of the note features the following inscriptions: "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE BOURGES" in capital letters, followed by the face value "CINQUANTE CENTIMES". The signatures of the Treasurer and the President are also mentioned, as well as the date "MCMXV" (1915). The name of the designer "J. TARDY DEL." appears, alongside the printer "LITH. Vve TARDY - PIGELET ET FILS - BOURGES". The name of the engraver, "H. RICHY Sc.", is also present.
The back of the note includes an inscription stating that the reimbursement must be made before October 31, 1920, under penalty of prescription. A serial number, "A 589751", is also printed on the back.
The note was printed by Tardy - Pigelet & fils, located in Bourges, France. The engraver H. Richy participated in the design of the note, while the designer J. Tardy also contributed to its development.
