This 50-cent note was issued by the Chamber of Commerce of Blois and Loir-et-Cher, in France. It is dated October 3, 1916, but is part of an issue dated August 16, 1915. Its identification number is 164 666.
The front of the note features the inscription "Chambre de Commerce de Blois et du Loir-et-Cher" in capital letters. The face value, "CINQUANTE CENTIMES", is also prominently displayed. The issue date, "3 OCTOBRE 1916", is indicated, as well as the repayment deadline set for October 4, 1918. The note bears the signatures of the Treasurer and the President of the Chamber of Commerce. In the upper left corner, the mention "2e émission" indicates that it is a later issue. The note was printed by L. Cassan Ainé in Toulouse.
The six-digit serial number, 164 666, also appears on the front. The note has no watermark. The back of the note does not contain detailed information, but confirms that the printer is L. Cassan Ainé, from Toulouse, France.
