This 50 centime banknote issued by the Belfort Chamber of Commerce dates from a deliberation of January 6, 1916. It is a banknote from Series 105. The specific serial number is 10.434.
The obverse of the banknote features the inscription "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE BELFORT" at the top, followed by the mention "DELIBERATION DU 6 JANVIER 1916". The face value "50" is clearly indicated, accompanied by the mention "CENTIMES". At the bottom, we find information relating to the printer: "IMP. B.ARNAUD LYON _ PARIS".
The reverse of the banknote mentions the face value "CINQUANTE CENTIMES", followed by the indications "Le Trésorier" and "Le Président", designating the signatories responsible for the issue. A redemption deadline is specified: "Remboursement avant le 5 novembre 1923".
The banknote was printed by B. Arnaud, a printer based in Villeurbanne, France, active between 1898 and 1990.
