The 2 Francs Morlon coin, dated 1934, is a French coin. Its face value is 2 francs. It is composed of a copper and aluminum alloy. It weighs 8 grams and its diameter is 27 millimeters.
The obverse of the coin depicts a bust of the French Republic facing left. The figure is wearing a Phrygian cap, adorned with a rosette and surrounded by a composite wreath made of olive, oak and wheat branches. The signature of the engraver, Morlon, is visible on this face. The inscription "REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE" is inscribed in capital letters around the bust.
The reverse of the coin features two cornucopias arranged on either side of the face value, indicated by the number "2" followed by the words "FRANCS". The republican motto "LIBERTE-EGALITE-FRATERNITE" is inscribed in an arc above the cornucopias. The year of issue, 1933, appears at the bottom of the coin. The signature of the engraver, Morlon, is also present on this face.
