This two-franc banknote was issued in 1918 by the Chamber of Commerce of Limoges, France. The front of the note features the inscription "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE LIMOGES" at the top, followed by the face value "DEUX FRANCS". A serial number, here "65869", is printed on the side. It also features the signatures of the President, the Vice-President by delegation, and the Treasurer, as well as the initials "CCL". The printer's mention, "IMP. P. DUMONT A LIMOGES", appears at the bottom of the front.
The back of the note contains an inscription specifying that this note is guaranteed by a deposit of an equivalent sum in the Public Treasury and that it must be presented for reimbursement before January 1, 1923.
The banknote incorporates a watermark depicting bees.
The printing was carried out by the Imprimerie Pierre Dumont, located in Limoges, France.
