This French banknote was issued by the city of Amiens, through the Banque Duvette, and dated September 15, 1915. It is a two-franc note. The identification number of this specific note is 062 719.
The obverse of the note features several inscriptions in Latin characters. It reads "VILLE D'AMIENS" at the top, followed by "BANQUE DUVETTE" below. The face value, "DEUX FRANCS", is also clearly indicated. The date of issue, "15 Septembre 1914", is printed, as well as the mention "Les Délégués de la Chambre de Commerce". The name of the printer, "IMP. DU PROGRES", also appears on this side.
The reverse of the note is simpler, with the number "2" repeated several times in a symmetrical arrangement. We can see "2 | 2" in the upper left and lower right, as well as a simple "2" in the center.
This note does not have a visible watermark. It was printed by Imprimerie du Progrès de la Somme.
