In the background, an aerial view of Paris reveals iconic monuments such as Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Seine, structuring elements of the urban landscape. The language used for the inscriptions is Latin. It reads "100 BANQUE DE FRANCE 100 CENT FRANCS". Ernest Deloche is credited as the engraver and Lucien Hector Jonas as the designer.
The back of the banknote depicts Sully on the right, holding a parchment. A picturesque pasture landscape serves as the backdrop for this representation. The banknote's dimensions are 180 mm in length and 92 mm in width.
