In the background, an aerial view of Paris reveals emblematic monuments such as Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Seine winding through the city.
The inscriptions on the front, written in Latin script, include the mention "BANQUE DE FRANCE" as well as the face value of the banknote, "100 FRANCS", repeated several times.
The back of the banknote depicts Sully, a French statesman, represented on the right side of the image holding a parchment. A picturesque rural landscape serves as a backdrop, evoking scenes of grazing.
The dimensions of this banknote are 180 mm in length and 92 mm in width. Ernest Deloche is credited as the engraver of this banknote, while Lucien Hector Jonas is the designer.
