This 100 French Franc banknote, issued in 1993, is part of the Delacroix series. Its serial code is L.222.
On the front, the banknote features a portrait of Eugène Delacroix, the famous French Romantic painter. In the background, you can see a representation of his iconic work, "Liberty Leading the People". The painter's name appears clearly, as well as the face value of the banknote, which is 100 francs. The mention "Banque de France" is also visible, highlighting the issuing institution. The dominant colors are blue and purple.
The back of the banknote features an allegory of Liberty, inspired by Delacroix's painting. Architectural elements and decorative motifs complete the composition. The face value, "100 francs", is repeated, and the mention "Banque de France" is present again. The colors used are in shades of brown and orange.
