The back of the banknote features an interpretation of "Pommes et biscuits," a work painted in 1880. Above the watermark, a chromatic circle is illustrated. The inscriptions include the mention "Banque de France", the face value "100 Cent Francs", and a legal warning regarding the penal sanctions applicable in the event of counterfeiting or falsification of banknotes, in accordance with articles 442-1 and 442-2 of the Penal Code.
