The obverse of the banknote features the inscription "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE MONTPELLIER" at the top, followed by the mention "Délibération du 9 août 1915" (Deliberation of August 9, 1915). The face value "UN FRANC" (ONE FRANC) is clearly indicated in the center. The signatures of the Treasurer and the President of the Chamber of Commerce are also found.
