This 1 franc banknote was issued by the Paris Chamber of Commerce on March 10, 1920 and belongs to the S.G11 series.
The front of the banknote features a central frame decorated with geometric patterns. On the right, a medallion depicts the bust of Minerva, wearing a helmet, facing left and shown in three-quarter view. The inscriptions "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE PARIS" and "UN FRANC" are present, accompanied by the series mention "Série S. G11" and a serial number "0.075.934". The signatures of the treasurer and the president complete the front.
The back of the banknote features, on the left, a front and back representation of a 1 franc Semeuse coin dated 1919, surrounded by geometric patterns. Inscriptions indicate the deliberation of the Paris Chamber of Commerce dated March 10, 1920. It also reads "LES BILLETS EN CIRCULATION SERONT ÉCHANGEABLES CONTRE DES BILLETS DE LA BANQUE DE FRANCE JUSQU'AU 1er JUILLET 1922", as well as the value "1" twice.
The banknote does not have a watermark. It should be noted that this banknote was exchangeable for banknotes of the Bank of France until July 1, 1922.
