The front of the banknote features a central frame decorated with geometric patterns. On the right, a medallion depicts the bust of Minerva, helmeted and turned to the left, in a three-quarter view. The series "S.A6" and the banknote number "0.055.669" are also present, as well as the mentions "LE TRÉSORIER" and "LE PRÉSIDENT" at the bottom.
The back of the banknote features, on the left, a front and back representation of a 1 franc Semeuse coin dated 1919, surrounded by geometric patterns. The following inscriptions appear: "DELIBERATION DE LA CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE PARIS EN DATE DU 10 MARS 1920", followed by "CPC" at the top center. In the center, there is a multi-line statement: "LES BILLETS EN CIRCULATION SERONT ÉCHANGEABLES CONTRE DES BILLETS DE LA BANQUE DE FRANCE JUSQU'AU 1er JUILLET 1922". The value "1" is inscribed at the bottom.
