The back of the banknote repeats the inscription "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE MONTLUÇON - GANNAT" at the top, followed by the mention of the ministerial authorization of October 5, 1915. A clause stipulates that the banknote must be presented for reimbursement within five years from October 10, 1915. The name of the printers, "Fernand Herbin & Henri Bouché Imprimeurs, Montluçon, France", is mentioned at the bottom.

The banknote is printed in Latin characters. The year of issue is 1916, and its face value is 1 franc, equivalent to 100 centimes. This banknote testifies to a time when local Chambers of Commerce were authorized to issue currency during periods of economic crisis or shortage of cash.
