This one-franc banknote was issued by the Chamber of Commerce of Eure-et-Loir on October 1, 1915.
On the obverse, the words "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE D'EURE ET LOIR" are written in capital letters. The face value "UN FRANC" is also prominently displayed. The issue date, "01-10-1915", is specified. The positions "Le Président" and "Le Trésorier" are mentioned, followed by the guarantee of deposit at the Banque de France. The name of the printer, "E. TROCHARD CHARTRES", is indicated at the bottom.
On the reverse, the year "1915" is printed. The redemption conditions are stipulated: the vouchers are redeemable in banknotes at the Banque de France in Chartres, at any time until October 1, 1920, in groups of at least ten of each denomination. The issue date, "Émis le 1er Octobre 1915 pour 5 ans", is repeated. The name of the printer, "Imprimerie E. Trochard, Chartres, France", is also mentioned.
The banknote is printed in Latin script on both sides.
