This banknote has a nominal value of one franc. The front of the banknote bears the inscriptions "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE / DE CHÂLON-SUR-SAÔNE, AUTUN & LOUHANS" as well as the mention of the value "UN FRANC". The signatures of the Treasurer and the President of the Chamber of Commerce are also found there. The serial number, "Série C 150", is printed on the front. The mention "IMP B.ARNAUD LYON PARIS" indicates the printer.
The back of the banknote bears the mention "1 FRANC" and specifies that these bonds are exchangeable for banknotes from the Banque de France.
