This 1 franc banknote was issued by the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce in 1920 and belongs to Series 213. It is a redeemable voucher.
On the front, you can read the inscriptions "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE BORDEAUX" at the top of the note, followed by the face value "UN FRANC". The signatures of the Treasurer and the President are present, along with the serial number ".03.487". The motto "QUO NON HAC DUCE" also appears on the front. A note specifies that "LA CONTRE VALEUR DE CES BONS EST DEPOSE AU TRESORT PUBLIC". The name of the printer, "IMP. GOUNOUILHOU BORDEAUX", is also indicated.
The reverse of the note bears the face value "1" as well as "UN FRANC". An inscription details the redemption conditions for these vouchers, specifying that they are redeemable at any time, but before December 31, 1925, by the public funds of the district and at the Banque de France in Bordeaux.
