This coin is a French one centime piece dated 1983, from a Fleur de Coin (FDC) set. It is struck in steel and weighs 1.65 grams, with a diameter of 15 millimeters.
The obverse of the coin features a stylized ear of wheat, around which is the inscription "république française" in cursive writing. It should be noted that some coins from this year may have a particularity: a burr, i.e. an outgrowth of material, located at the base of the right leaf of the ear.
The reverse of the coin features the number "1", representing the face value, surrounded by the date of issue and the inscription "centime", also in cursive writing.
The edge of the coin is smooth, without inscription or particular motif.
The designs of the obverse and reverse are the work of Marcel Guilleminet.
