Jean-Baptiste-Daniel Dupuis is the engraver responsible for this design.
The reverse of the coin features the value "1 CENTIME" surrounded by an olive branch. The republican motto "LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE" is inscribed in an arc above the value. The year, 1913, is located below the value. Jean-Baptiste-Daniel Dupuis also engraved the reverse.
