A green signature, accompanied by a title, is affixed to the bottom left. The year of issue, in green, is visible at the bottom left and center right. Braille identification marks are located at the top right, below the face value. A windowed security strip, bearing the acronym "BCC" and the face value in numbers, is integrated and visible against the light.
The back of the banknote depicts the Constituent Assembly in Guáimaro, dated April 10, 1869. The scene shows Carlos Manuel de Céspedes and other personalities gathered around a table, with flags and portraits in the background. The name of the country is inscribed at the top of the banknote, and the face value in numbers is visible in the upper left and lower right corners.
